Our company based in Nairobi, Kenya is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager.

Responsibilities and duties:

- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, Telegram, YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences
- Create content (namely text, images, photos, and videos) for all social media platforms
- Design, schedule, edit, and publish posts for all social media platforms
- Optimize and update content on a daily basis
- Oversee social media content
- Build relationships with followers through consistent communication via comments, retweets, likes, and more
- Answer followers questions on social pages daily
- Strategise social media campaigns to boost sales and brand engagement
- Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organisation and brand
- Host monthly giveaways, live streams, and other events
- Develop and submit a monthly content calendar for approval from chief editor
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights
- Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
- Analyse competitor activity
- Recommend improvements to increase performance
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product Development specialists
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Train other in the team

Salary: KSh 30,000 - 60,000 Monthly
