Separate app or website?

#1
Is it worth building a separate mobile app, or is a well-optimized website enough?

Initially, I decided to stick with a mobile-optimized website because app development is long and expensive. But then I realized many players wanted a fully functional app on their phone, so I ended up creating one.

I’ve seen examples where a mobile website was so good that an app wasn’t really necessary. Plus, there’s no hassle with app marketplaces that often block gambling apps.

I had a situation where Google Play repeatedly rejected the app. I had to host the .apk file on my own site. Because of that, some players were hesitant to download it, afraid of potential viruses.

If you have a resourses, go for an app. If not, a well-made website will work.

For convenience, it's better to create an app.

Лучше иметь хороший сайт, так как не у всех есть возможность установить приложение.

Progressive Web App is often the optimal solution — combines web accessibility with app-like features.

Инвестируйте в мобильное приложение только в том случае, если ваша аналитика покажет, что >35% игроков заходят через мобильные браузеры с высокой скоростью передачи данных – в случае отсутствия достаточного для PWA сайта.
