What do you do to make transactions go faster when the network is overloaded?

I set a higher miner fee so my transaction gets priority. But it’s more expensive.

Sometimes I switch to another network or token where there’s less demand and fees are lower.

I try to plan large transactions in advance. If I know the network gets overloaded in the evening, I’ll do the transfer in the morning.
